Blackpool House is a home for up to 7 young people between the ages of 16 and 18. We are specialists in leaving care and promote independent living. We provide a warm, safe, stable and nurturing environment where each young person is able to develop and have their individual needs addressed.
Such as cultural, emotional, spiritual, educational and social needs in a positive and progressive manner. We do this by empowering and enabling effective staff working practice through ongoing training, open communication channels, personal development plan and collegiate support.
Management
Our Manager has DipSW ( Diploma in Social Work ) and NVQ4 Qualified and has over 20 years experience in youth and social work.
Child Care Practitioners
The staffing deployment allows for handover meetings, information sharing meetings and training. Where extended training needs are identified, known and fully referenced supply staff will be used.
