Blackpool Homes is a home for up to 7 young people between the ages of 16 and 18.

 

The accommodation consists of:

• Bathroom with W.C

• 7 Private bedrooms

• Staff office and facilities

• Garden and patio area

 

Each bedroom comprises of:

 

• Single/double sized be

• Wardrobe

• Bedside cabinet

• Chest of drawers

• Decorated room with bed linen, blinds and flooring. Young people who are placed on a longer-term basis can choose their own style of decor

• Each bedroom is lockable from the outside with a key and from the inside

 

Bath/shower/laundry facilities

 

• There are washing and bathing facilities with a choice of shower or bath. There are separate W.C. facilities. Laundry facilities include an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

Kitchen

 

• The kitchen is equipped with good cooking hardware, water preparation and drainage area, work surfaces and refrigeration facility. Utility area.

Communal areas and general:

 

• The lounge is equipped with a television, DVD player, Sound system and ample quality seating. Recreation, ‘Chill area’ room. Relevant security measures on windows and main entrance fitted with an entry alarm. External security lighting. All the necessary safety requirements exist for fire fighting including equipment, warning systems and exit strategy. We are easily reached via excellent rail and road networks.
